with tactile switches, sip-and-puff devices and headphones.

Your signature is part of your vote! Make sure it counts.
The signature on your ballot return envelope must match a signature in your voter registration record for your
             ballot to count.

  • If you registered online, check the signature on your driver’s license or ID. That’s the signature we’re using to
       compare to your ballot signature.
  • Your signature doesn’t need to be written in cursive or even be legible. It just needs to match what we already have
       on file for you.
  • If you aren’t sure what signature you might have used, before you vote, send us a paper registration form and we’ll
       update your record.

benefited from the Emergency Medical Service Levy.
The EMS levy provides invaluable training, personnel,
and equipment area fire departments rely on to provide
emergency medical services. As Yakima County has grown,
so have requests for service. Prior to the original 1991
levy, requests for EMS service were less than 6,000 yearly.
Today, that number has grown to nearly 20,000. The EMS
levy is not a new tax it’s the renewal of the same 25 cents
per $1000 of assessed value that has been approved by
voters since 1991.

The current police department is substantially under-sized,
faces significant challenges not visible from the outside,
and no longer serves the needs of the department or our
community. It’s not owned by the city, and taxpayers are
obligated to a "triple-net lease!” Secured spaces (evidence,
records, and interview and holding rooms) do not meet
industry standards. Court uses space inside City Hall to
conduct business. A new facility built on city-owned land is
the most responsible investment of taxpayer dollars.

students a real school building to meet in. This proposal is
the most efficient use of tax dollars long-term, as there will
be just one 7-12 building to staff, which also provides safe
campus entrances. This bond replaces the current capital

of the lowest assessment rates among Lower Yakima Valley
