HUNTING AREAS
HUNTING AREA N. 1
The first hunting area, sizing around 31 000
hectares is situated just 50 km from
Adriatic seaside, in the heart of a
mountainous region with altitude up to
1600m a.s.l. Several species of mountain
game abide there, like brown bear, red
deer, roe deer, wild boar, chamois, lynx and
the protected wolf and capercaillie. The
biggest bear trophies were shot here. The
hunters will be accommodated and well
hosted in fully equipped hunting lodges.

ACCOMODATION NEAR HUNTING AREA N. 1
SMALL PENSION-GUEST HOUSE
This small pension is located on a slope
in the middle of a park around, around
25 km from hunting area (about 50
minutes by car), 120 km from Zagreb, 40
km from Rijeka. The history of the
Pension goes back to 1952, when its
construction began ending in 1955
thanks to the work of members of a local
hunting society. There are 7 rooms with
totally 22 beds. The pension boasts a
good restaurant that offers game dishes
and other delicatessen prepared with
local products as a delicious strudel with
forest fruits. Beside the pension there is
a small deer park. There are also well-
arranged walking and trekking paths
right next to the facility, and a 1590-m-
long roller-track.

HUNTING AREA N. 2
The second hunting area, sizing around 18 000
hectares is situated in Northern/Western part
of Croatia. We are talking about a mountain
complex with altitude till 1500m a.s.l. mainly
covered with centenarial beech and fir forest
where you find the largest population of
brown bear in Europe. To stay and hunt in
these woods is an experience of a lifetime. The
hunters are accompanied by professional
hunting staff and the accommodation is
organized in one of the comfortable hunting
lodges in the area.

ACCOMODATION NEAR HUNTING AREA N. 2
HUNTING LODGE
This hunting lodge is located at 928 meters
above sea level, around 40 minutes drive
from Rijeka. It offers amazing mountain
views with its slopes and forests. The
ground floor has a wide living area and
upstairs there are 7 rooms with 13 beds
totally. The guests usually appreciate food
prepareded from local products, game
dishes at first.

HUNTING AREA N. 3
The third area, sizing around 13 000
hectares is situated in Northern/Western
part of Croatia, just 30 km from the
Adriatic sea. We are talking about a
mountain complex with altitude till 1300
m a.s.l. mainly covered with coniferous
forests. If you like to hunt a strong bear
in wild forests, this area is the right
choice for you. The hunters are
accompanied by professional hunting
guides and the accommodation is
provided in one of the very comfortable
hunting lodges in the area.

ACCOMODATION NEAR HUNTING AREA N. 3
HIGH STANDARD RANCH-RESORT
Providing accommodation in authentic teepee,
suites and chalets, the ranch-resort is a guest ranch
within the Velebit Nature Park, under UNESCO
protection. The complex includes a restaurant,
barbecue and an abundance of wildlife. The ranch
organises horseback riding trips over the scenic
vastness of the Velebit Mountain. Cooking over a
campfire is a great way to learn more about living
in accordance with nature. Guests are provided
with crystal clean water from a nearby spring.
Restaurant meals feature organic food and
homemade specialities, while the sumptuous
breakfast will prepare you for a day in saddle. The
nearest town is Gospić, 22 km away, as well as
North Velebit National Park. Jablanac Ferry Port,
with links to Rab Island, is at a distance of 53 km.
The UNESCO-protected Plitvice Lakes are 78 km
from the ranch-resort.

The hunting area n. 4 is situated on the most beautiful Croatian mountain
Velebit with altitude from 1200 to 1400 m.a.s.l. This area, sizing around
23000 hectares, is covered mainly with the indigenous beech and fir forests,
beautiful meadows and Karst areas.
The hunting area n. 5 takes up the middle part of the mountain Velebit,
between the Adriatic coast and the Karst region Lika. In these two hunting
areas you can come across the protected wolf, lynx or capercaillie and you
can hunt brown bear, red deer and wild boar. The hunting experience here
is unforgettable. The hunters are accommodated in two hunting lodges
described below.

The hunters are accomodated in two facilities with
well equipped rooms and apartments. The full
capacity is 46 beds. The first lodge offers 11
double rooms with their own bathroom, 2 three-
bed apartments and 1 five-bed apartment. The
second one has 2 double rooms with an extra bed
and their own bathroom, 1 three-bed apartment
and 1 four-bed apartment.
