Case Study Paper Mill Plant from the US to the
Middle East
Challenges/Obstacles
We coordinated and oversaw every step of the
move of a paper plant from Snowflake, AZ, to
Saudi Arabia. Vector’s highly trained operations
team worked with with different suppliers to

minimize the project’s overall costs.

After more than 30 containers, three months
of planning, and almost 45 days of execution,
we were able to load and ship all the different
parts, resulting in a successful delivery.

Tropical Cyclone Idai Relief to
Zimbabwe
Challenges/Obstacles
The client asked us to manage a complete door-to-
door move of medical supplies to Harare,
Zimbabwe.
For this shipment, we needed duty exemption on
certificates and import licenses from the consignee
due to a tax exception. The agent at the
destination also requested an exoneration letter
and original documents before the cargo arrived.
Resolution
The container of equipment and supplies was a
huge help for the doctors and nurses that were
assisting with the day-to-day care of the victims of
the disaster.
