We are delighted that the wonderful Barry Cryer has Hosted by Graham Norton, recorded live at London’s BFI
agreed to give the 2018 Linda Smith Lecture. A personal Southbank in April 2018. Built around a 14 hour interview,
friend of Linda’s, Barry has contributed to this country’s Playing the Part uncovers McKellen’s story. From his
entertainment industry for over 50 years. He has written for upbringing living through the war, working through
some of our highest rated shows and for many of our most repertory and West End theatre becoming a pioneering
popular comedians. His brilliant wit is still enjoyed by stage star, coming out and being a leader in the campaign
