At the beginning of 2020 we were excited about launching our new trade service offering

did we know the significant positive impact this would have for you when the COVID-19

global pandemic took hold in March. We were super impressed with the rate at which you
adapted your businesses to work in different ways and many offered new services with
our books and journals to take advantage of our drop-ship offering.
Lockdown had an unprecedented and profound impact on the lives of consumers and their
shopping responses. With more time spent at home, consumers, more mindful than ever

about what they are buying sought out gifts that would provide comfort for their loved
ones.
The retail industry has experienced major disruption but as we emerge from lockdowns, it
seems that consumer preferences have remained changed. People are continuing to want
to buy products that are meaningful and that do really bring them closer to the people
who matter. Families are welcoming the opportunity to spend more time together and
connecting at a deeper level than ever before.
