WELCOME
Following the easing of restrictions, we have been
incredibly excited to see the smiles of our young
and older members as we welcome the community
back to our local libraries.
If you haven’t had a chance to visit our Parkdale or
Cheltenham branches you’ll notice some big changes
when you do, with new furniture and lay-outs. Drop into the
redeveloped Dingley Village Library too and see the wonderful
new community space that has now been officially opened.
There’s plenty of new programming coming in 2021 as well with some
exciting new clubs and activities for ages 15+ including Brain Training, Tech Tryouts
and our Book Chatters group.
Kids are invited to try some of our new After School Children’s Programs including Xbox
Meet, Kid’s Movie Club and Lego free play as well as the return of some firm favourites.
Keep an eye out for our special new programs to watch out for like Sensitive Storytime,
designed for children with additional needs.
There’s plenty of reasons to pop into your local library this Autumn.
Cr Steve Staikos, Mayor
Programming is subject to government health regulations. Programs listed as in-branch
