Welcome to your 2018 Calendar It is once again my pleasure to share the City of Brantford’s annual calendar with our community in an effort to help keep residents informed about the various programs and services the City provides. We have included useful information ranging from special events to garbage and recycling schedules, and invite you to contact our Customer One Contact Centre at 519-759-4150 with any additional questions you may have. This year, we are proud to explore Brantford with you as we feature a variety of local landmarks and attractions throughout the following pages. As the content of this calendar demonstrates, Brantford has a great deal to offer people of all ages. Facilities like the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre and Kiwanis Field, event and festival offerings at Harmony Square and the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, and programs like the Healthy Kids Community Challenge and Brantford’s Neighbourhood Hub Program, illustrate just a few of the reasons why Brantford is an ideal place to live, work, and play. As we make our way through 2018, let us continue to work together to make Brantford Mayor Chris Friel a smarter, healthier, and safer city - Brantford at its best. Wishing you all a healthy and prosperous 2018! As always, we welcome your feedback. Please contact the coordinator of this project by calling Mayor Chris Friel, City of Brantford 519-759-4150 Discover Brantford Brantford is a vibrant city offering a full range of arts, culture, sports, camps, recreation facilities, family-friendly activities and more.
